Major airlines officially open round-trip tickets for the Hanoi – Taiwan route

Bamboo Airways and Vietjet have officially commenced ticket sales for the Hanoi – Taiwan route to meet the travel needs of Vietnamese individuals seeking education, employment, etc., as well as foreigners in Vietnam wishing to return home or travel for business, satisfying the immigration requirements of respective countries.

Immigration regulations in Vietnam:

Based on official document number 10688/BYT-MT dated December 16, 2021

– Application: Entry into Vietnam

– Entry requirements:

 Confirmation of vaccination (Confirmed by certificate/App) or confirmation of recovery from Covid-19 (except for children under 2 years old).

 Negative RT-PCR test result within 72 hours before entry into Vietnam (except for children under 2 years old).

 For cases not fully vaccinated or confirmed recovered from Covid-19: Must have confirmation of hotel booking at designated quarantine facilities (minimum 7 days) or Certificate of eligibility for home quarantine (as per document 5599/BYT- MT from the Ministry of Health).

  Install and declare health status on the PC-Covid app before the flight.

Entry regulations in Taiwan:

– Application: Taiwanese nationals, spouses, permanent residents, diplomats (Transit passengers are not allowed entry)

– Entry requirements:

 Present negative RT-PCR test result within 48 hours before departure time.

Please choose one of the following programs

1. For passengers who have not received full doses of vaccine:

 Program A:

14-day quarantine at a hotel and 7-day self-health monitoring

 Program B:

10-day quarantine at a hotel, 4 days at home, and 7-day self-health monitoring. Passengers will undergo PCR testing on the 9th or 10th day; if negative, they will return home for the remaining 4 days of self-quarantine. One day before the end of quarantine, another test will be conducted. If negative, passengers will self-monitor their health for the next 7 days.

2. For passengers who have received full doses of vaccine

 Program C:

7-day quarantine at a hotel, 7 days at home. Passengers undergo PCR testing on the 6th day; if negative, they can quarantine at home from day 8 to 14. Passengers must undergo rapid testing on day 10 and PCR testing before the end of quarantine; if negative, they will self-monitor for another 7 days.
Note: Family members at the passenger's home quarantine location must also be fully vaccinated and undergo testing as required.
