No need for fancy microwaves or modern grills, just use your electric rice cooker to enjoy flavorful grilled chicken. Simple ingredients and a breeze of a method.

Ingredients for Grilled Chicken:

- 300g chicken thighs
- 1 piece of ginger
- 2 stalks of green onions
- toasted sesame seeds
- Seasonings: 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablespoon fish sauce, 1 tablespoon honey (substitute with 1/2 tablespoon sugar if unavailable)
How to Grill Chicken with an Electric Rice Cooker:
Step 1: Put all spices in a bowl, mix well.
Step 2: Wash the chicken thighs with diluted salt water after purchasing, then pat dry with paper towels.
Then, place the chicken thighs in the spice bowl above, evenly coat the surface (avoid missing spots), and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Note: To enhance flavor absorption, you can use a toothpick to make a few holes in the chicken thighs for grilling.

Step 3: While waiting, clean the ginger and green onions, then slice them as shown in the image.

Step 4: Place ginger and some green onions at the bottom of the pot, then add the chicken and marinade water. Turn on the cooker.

Step 5: When the cooker switches to warm mode, flip the chicken upside down, add 2 tablespoons of cold water, then turn on the cooking mode again.
