A Simple Recipe for Delicious Sticky Rice: No Fuss, Just Flavor
Ingredients:
200 grams of glutinous rice
150 grams of peeled mung beans
10 grams of sugar
A pinch of salt
50 milliliters of coconut milk
Instructions:
Step 1: Soak and steam peeled mung beans until tender with a pinch of salt. Once cooked, blend until smooth. If the beans are not smooth, strain them through a fine-mesh sieve by pressing with your hand until smooth.

Step 2: Rinse glutinous rice thoroughly after soaking it overnight.

Place the rice in a bowl along with 160 ml of boiling water, coconut milk, and a pinch of salt. Wrap with cling film and microwave on high for 8 minutes. After 8 minutes, remove from microwave, stir the rice, then mix in the mung beans and sugar evenly.



Wrap the food in plastic wrap, then put it in the microwave for an additional 2 minutes to finish.

Step 3: Fluff the sticky rice, pour it onto a tray, gently spread it out to separate each grain to complete.

Plate the sticky rice in a bowl with fried shallots and Vietnamese pork sausage.

This dish is incredibly delicious, and it's also quick to cook.
