Arrange a trip to Gia Lai to participate in the Chư Đăng Ya wild sunflower festival in 2017.
When wild sunflowers are mentioned, Da Lat often comes to mind as the prime destination. However, the Central Highlands also boast another hidden gem of wild sunflowers, which is Chư Đăng Ya.

Visiting Chư Đăng Ya during the festival, you will be captivated by hundreds of thousands of wild sunflowers blooming profusely along the roads and hillsides, painting a golden corner of the sky.

The Chư Đăng Ya wild sunflower festival is scheduled to take place in Ia Gri village, nestled at the foot of Chư Đăng Ya mountain (Chư Đăng Ya commune, Chư Pah district). This cultural event aims to celebrate the land, people, and traditional cultural values of the ethnic groups in Chư Pah district while promoting and introducing the tourism potential of the district.

Besides marveling at the blooming wild sunflowers, attending the festival also offers you the chance to participate in various exciting activities such as gong performances, bamboo weaving, traditional fabric weaving, sculpture carving, archery contests, stick pushing, and traditional boat rowing, creating a truly appealing destination for visitors.

Currently, as you ascend the roads to Chư Đăng Ya, wild sunflowers are in full bloom, casting a vibrant golden hue, becoming the dominant color and a striking highlight for the entire volcanic mountain.
