How to Shutdown Computer Remotely with iPhone
Shutting down a computer remotely is not unfamiliar to many people. However, using an iPhone to shut down a computer is still a question mark. Follow these steps to enable this feature.
Step 1: Download the Off software on both your iPhone and computer.
Step 2: Download extract and install
Step 3: After installation, at the bottom right corner of the screen, there will be the Off icon, right-click on it to select commands like:
- Force close application on shutdown: Force close applications when shutting down.
- Avoid hibernation when going to sleep: Prevent hibernation when transitioning to sleep mode.
- Keep computer awake: Keep the computer awake.
- Set a password: Set a password for the computer.
Step 4: Open the Off application on your iPhone > Press OK to allow the application to find and connect to devices on the local network > Connect to the same Wi-Fi as your computer to find devices > If your Windows computer is found, you will see the message We’ve found your computer… Click Continue to proceed.
Step 5: Here you will see the following actions:
- Shutdown: Turn off the computer.
- Restart: Restart the computer.
- Sleep: Transition to sleep mode.
- Lock: Lock the computer.
- Wake: Keep the computer awake.
- Keep Awake: Keep the computer awake.
- Display Text Message: Display a text message.
Since this is the free version, you can only use Shutdown. Press Shutdown to turn off the computer.
