Malaysia Airlines removes mandatory mask rule on flights
Starting from September 28, 2022, passengers of Malaysia Airlines, Firefly, MASwings, and AMAL Airlines are not required to wear masks on flights; except for countries at destinations that still require it. The relaxation of this mask mandate follows the guidelines of Malaysia's Ministry of Health announced on September 28, 2022, to remove the requirement of wearing masks on commercial aircraft.

However, MAG encourages passengers with poor health conditions, those at high risk, and those traveling with high-risk individuals to continue wearing masks on flights.
