Step 1: To unfollow a group on Facebook Workplace, start by looking at the left-hand sidebar where prominent groups you're a part of or your private groups are listed. Click on any group.
Step 2: On the notification board of the tab, you'll find three options: All posts, Highlights, or Turn off for your preference.
- All posts: In this mode, any group posts will appear on your timeline, and some priority notifications will be highlighted in your notifications. Of course, admin messages are always ensured to be notified.
- Featured Posts: Featured posts are those related to you, where you're tagged by other members or administrators. Additionally, some pinned notifications from admins will also be alerted to you.
- Turn Off: This mode allows you to receive no notifications from the group while still being active within it.
Step 3: Right next to the notification section is Joined , here you can unfollow the group on Facebook Workplace or leave the group on Facebook Workplace immediately. Choosing to unfollow the group is equivalent to the Featured Posts mode, and you'll only receive notifications when there's an admin announcement or when you're tagged.
- On the other hand, selecting leave group means you've completely exited the group on Facebook Workplace, and all information will no longer be related.
- Upon clicking, a confirmation prompt will appear. If leaving the group on Facebook Workplace, click Leave Group.
