The unfolding of coffee flowers is a mesmerizing sight, as if overnight, the once vivid greenery turns into a vast expanse of white blooms.
I've had two occasions to visit Tây Nguyên on short work trips. Each time was a rush. The first visit to Buôn Ma Thuột was amidst relentless rain, where the city resonated with the deep melodies of local artists and the rich aroma of strong coffee amidst the cold of the mountains.

The second visit to Ban Mê, again for work but with a bit more leisure. In the evening, a colleague took me to explore the charming city. The Đày Buôn Ma Thuột, located in the city center, closes at 5 p.m.
My third trip to Buôn Ma Thuột was a rendezvous with the coffee blossom season. 'Come, and you'll be floating on the fluffy clouds of pristine white, freshness in the air. Come to witness Tây Nguyên at its most beautiful.' So, as spring arrived, leaving the hustle of the urban life behind, I ventured to Tây Nguyên once again.
Not everyone is fortunate enough to visit Tây Nguyên during the blooming season. Coffee flowers typically bloom 2-3 times until late spring, each bloom fleeting, transforming into tiny buds within just a few days. And I, perhaps, am one of the lucky ones to witness spring unfold in Tây Nguyên.

The lush green coffee forests, transformed into a floating sea of white blossoms overnight, never fail to astonish visitors. Under the azure sky and gentle sunlight, the white hue of the economic plant weaves expansive blankets across the hills, orchards, and fields of Ban Mê residents.
Springtime marks the peak influx of visitors to Buôn Ma Thuột. Travelers from distant lands come to Tây Nguyên to immerse themselves in the unique natural scenery of the windy and sunny region, along with numerous extraordinary festivals.
The sweet and enticing fragrance of coffee flowers captivates bees everywhere, swirling around to gather pollen and create delicious, aromatic honey. In this dreamlike setting, colorful butterflies of various hues follow the scent of coffee flowers, creating a mesmerizing painting across the Ban Mê sky. That flower, that aroma, is a distinctive beauty of the red basaltic land, infusing the coffee blossom season with soul and leaving an unforgettable impression on Ban Mê.

Towards the end of spring, coffee flowers become scarce, and young coffee beans emerge on the branches, signaling a bountiful coffee harvest season. Backpack in tow, wandering throughout Tây Nguyên during spring, every step is intoxicated by the captivating fragrance of coffee blossoms.
