Minecraft stands as one of the most popular games of all time, with over 200 million copies sold and 126 million active players monthly, developed by Mojang Studios.

The much-awaited Minecraft Live event is set to happen on October 3rd.

Facebook currently stands as one of the largest live streaming platforms, allowing gamers to broadcast Minecraft gameplay directly.

Established in 2009, Mojang Studios is a video game developer hailing from Sweden. The company was wholly acquired by Microsoft through Xbox Game Studios (formerly Microsoft Studios) in November 2014. In May, the Swedish developer announced a new brand and name - Mojang Studios (from the previous Mojang) on the 11th anniversary of game release.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event will be held online at Minecraft.net/Live on October 3rd at 12 pm EST. Mojang Studios previously announced the postponement of Minecraft Festival until 2022, which was originally scheduled for later this year.
