Mark Zuckerberg spotted wearing a shark-repellent anklet while surfing

During his surfing session in Kauai, Hawaii last Thursday, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg was seen sporting an anklet designed to ward off sharks. It seems Zuckerberg has a penchant for water activities and beach outings. Unlike his previous outings where he resorted to wearing a face mask to evade paparazzi, this time he opted out.

At first glance, the anklet resembles a fitness tracker, but it emits frequencies that deter sharks from approaching. Additionally, the underside of the surfboard is adorned with black-and-white stripes (zebra pattern). According to theory, sharks are attracted to solid-colored objects (mistaking them for prey) and are less interested in striped patterns.
