Bich Dong Pagoda is an ancient temple situated on the limestone mountains of Truong Yen in Ninh Hai commune, Hoa Lu district, Ninh Binh province. It is a historical and cultural relic within the Trang An Tam Coc - Bich Dong scenic complex, classified as a special national monument and recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
Bich Dong Pagoda was originally named 'Bach Ngoc Thach Son Dong' - meaning a beautiful and pristine stone pagoda resembling jade amidst the deep mountains and caves. It was renamed Bich Dong Pagoda in 1774 when Lord Trinh Sam visited the site.
