The exterior is made of high limestone, while the outer shell is crafted from sandstone. There are about 130 spiral staircase steps leading from the base of the tower to the observation deck – providing panoramic views of the old town, the Alps, and the Jungfraujoch Interlacken – the 'top of Europe.' The two attic floors are covered by a red-tiled conical roof in Gothic medieval architecture style.
St. Pierre Cathedral
Construction of St. Pierre Cathedral began in 1160 and took 100 years to complete. Since its construction, the cathedral has undergone numerous repairs, renovations, and upgrades, including various aspects such as the prayer hall, interior furnishings, and decorative artworks.

The cathedral's design is predominantly Romanesque architecture with some Gothic-style details. Inside the cathedral, historical paintings still adorn the walls, and many Latin inscriptions are carved on the columns. Notably, the St. Peter Altarpiece, painted by Konrad Witz in 1444, is currently preserved in an art and history museum in Geneva.
