Robert Downey Jr. undergoes a remarkable transformation in the latest set of photos from his upcoming movie - 'The Sympathizer'.
In exclusive images obtained by Page Six Saturday, the 57-year-old actor is seen sporting a clean-shaven head, dressed in a black zip-up hoodie, blue sweatpants, and a white T-shirt. The photos were captured on Friday (local time) while the cast and crew took a lunch break on set.
However, the bald look is not the only change that Downey has undergone for his latest film. According to the captured images, Downey appears significantly slimmer, with his rib cage clearly visible in these photos.

Previously, Robert was also spotted unrecognizably with a red wig and bald cap. The reason why Downey's appearance continuously changes on set is because he is believed to be playing several supporting roles in an HBO television series.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, in the new film, the 'Sherlock Holmes' star plays a promising congressman from Orange County, California, a CIA officer, and the film's director.
According to IMDB, 'The Sympathizer' revolves around a man of mixed French and Vietnamese heritage, who once worked as a spy for the Communist forces during the Vietnam War.
In November, Downey gave fans a glimpse of his new appearance at a red carpet event. The 'Avengers' star attended the premiere of the film 'Sr.' at that time with a shaved head.
