“To commemorate Blade's 50th anniversary, we have found the final piece that blends harmoniously with the Daywalker at Arkane Lyon, a studio housing uncompromising artists who dare to push the boundaries of design and innovate games,” said Bill Rosemann, Vice President and Head of Creative at Marvel Games.

After the teaser, representatives from Arkane Lyon remained tight-lipped about further details regarding gameplay, except that Marvel's Blade will be a third-person action game and will be released after Insomniac's Wolverine. Following the successes of Dishonored and Prey (alongside the setback of Redfall), hopes are high that Arkane will deliver an action-packed blockbuster adaptation from comics in the near future.
