What's the Current Fate of the Avengers?
The Avengers team of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has become a beloved superhero group in Hollywood cinema today. With decades of development, each Avengers character has left a unique impression on the audience.
However, if the Avengers no longer exist or are absent, then what?
1. Kevin Feige reveals that there are currently no Avengers teams in the MCU
At the D23 Expo, Kevin Feige, the Marvel Studios producer, explained the current situation in the MCU regarding the Avengers to fans.
Kevin Feige reveals: 'Captain America (Sam Wilson's version) will portray a world without the Avengers. Sam will become Captain America in a scenario without the Avengers organization'.
So what does this mean and what will happen if Earth no longer has this superhero group?
2. Thunderbolts will replace the Avengers as the superhero team in the MCU
Even though the Avengers are no more, it doesn't mean that Earth will be without its own superhero group.
Feige explains: 'Even without the Avengers organization, Earth still has a fantastic group. This group may not be like the Avengers, but there are similar groups, and they are the Thunderbolts'.
From Kevin Feige's words, it seems that the Thunderbolts will be the superhero team operating in the MCU universe until the present time.
3. Anthony Mackie reveals that the Avengers are currently 'unemployed'
Mackie states: 'All the Avengers are currently unemployed and they have a new team (Thunderbolts) now.'
From the information above, we can say that the movie Avengers: Endgame truly put an end to the Avengers team and each member will have a 'different path'. For example, we have seen the branching of Hawkeye in his own movie of the same name, or Hulk in She-Hulk.
