1. Avoid placing them in areas prone to water accumulation
Identify water-prone areas in your home, such as glass surfaces, floors, and walls. Avoid placing electronic devices like washing machines, TVs, and refrigerators in these locations. For refrigerators, purchase additional stands and pedestals to prevent direct contact with the floor. Place these devices about 10 to 30cm away from the wall to facilitate proper air circulation and heat dissipation.

2. Keep them running
Even when not in use, leave your washing machine, TV, and refrigerator in standby mode for a specific period to minimize turning off the power completely. When these devices are in standby mode, they don't shut down completely but generate heat, saving energy. To prevent water stagnation, users should turn them on for 10 to 15 minutes every day.
3. Use air conditioning or dehumidifiers and keep doors closed
Many think that on humid days, opening doors to let in the breeze will quickly dry wet floors. In reality, this worsens the humidity issue, increasing the risk of damage to refrigerators, TVs, and washing machines.

Therefore, the best solution is to keep doors tightly closed and use the air conditioner's drying mode daily. Do this about 2 to 3 times a day, with each session lasting 10 to 15 minutes. Avoid running the Dry mode all day, as excessive humidity can affect respiratory health and skin.
In addition to using the air conditioner, users can use a dehumidifier to maintain stable humidity levels, extracting moisture, preventing mold growth, and protecting washing machines, refrigerators, and TVs.
