Follow the steps below to efficiently practice touch typing.
Step 1: Open the recently installed Rapid Typing Tutor software. Choose the details in the Select your keyboard and Select finger placement scheme sections, then click OK to begin.

You can customize settings in the Options section. Adjust the display keyboard style (Keyboard), colors (Colours), font (Font), sound (Sound), interface background (Themes), select display language (Program language)...
Choose the learning program and lessons you desire. If you don't make a selection, the program will start from the beginning.

1. Position your fingers according to the program's illustration below. Each finger is assigned to type keys of the same color as shown below.
Left hand:
- Pinky finger: Always positioned on the A key and types keys Z, Q, 1, `, Tab, Capslock, Shift, Ctrl.
- Ring finger: Always positioned on the S key and types keys W, X, ALT, 2.
- Middle finger: Always positioned on the D key and types keys E, C, 3.

- Thumb: Types Space.
Right hand:
