No need for complicated software! Easily record games with OBS Studio, then live stream to Facebook, YouTube, or both simultaneously.
Game recording made simple using OBS, leveraging OBS Studio for smooth gameplay capture.
Step 3: To start recording a game with OBS studio, right-click on the black background > select Add > then choose Game Capture so that OBS studio can capture the game you are playing.
Next, a window will appear, here we choose a name to set for that Profile.
Step 4: Then, in the selection of the source for recording a game with OBS studio, pay attention to 2 parts as follows:
- Mode: Choose Capture Specific Windows if you are playing a windowed game, otherwise select Full Screen.
- Windows: Select the game you want to record with OBS studio.
Step 5: Before recording a game with OBS studio, you need to drag the game window to full screen.
Step 6: After setting up the visuals and sources, go to Settings to configure hotkeys.
Step 7: In Settings, select Hotkeys and set shortcuts for Start Recording and Stop Recording to be more proactive when recording games with OBS studio.
