With the latest Android 13 update and One UI 5.0, Samsung has introduced some fresh gesture controls allowing users to swiftly switch apps to Pop-up view or split-screen mode. Let's dive into how to use these new gestures on your Samsung device.
Discovering New Gestures on Samsung Phones
Step 1: With these new features, Samsung has tucked them away in your phone's Settings Lab. To get started, head over to Settings > Advanced features > Labs > and toggle the switch for Swipe to view pop-up and Split to split screen.

Step 2: As mentioned, there are two main actions: split-screen and pop-up view. To view an app in pop-up mode, you can swipe a finger from the top right edge of the screen towards the center. The size of the app window will depend on how much you drag the large white frame.

For splitting the screen, simply swipe two fingers from the bottom edge towards the center of the screen, and the app will automatically split the screen for you.
