Initiating a Dynamic Powerpoint Slide Show

To commence your presentation journey, navigate to the Slide Show tab under Start Slide Show on the Powerpoint interface. Choose from three presentation options: From Beginning or press F5 (for a start from the first slide); From Current Slide or use the shortcut Shift + F5 (for presenting from the current slide); Present Online (ideal for remote audiences).

Concluding your presentation is a breeze – simply press Esc or right-click -> End Show.

By default, the concluding slide is black. Customize this by selecting File -> Options. In the PowerPoint Options, navigate to the Advanced tab, scroll down to Slide Show, and uncheck End with black slide -> OK.

During Presentation:
Navigate to the next slide by left-clicking, using the arrow keys, pressing Enter, or Page Down on the keyboard.

Alternatively, right-click and select Next.

To go back to the previous slide, use the left arrow, upward arrow, or press Page Up.

To view all slides, right-click and select See All Slides.

During the presentation, utilize the pen or laser pointer by right-clicking and selecting Pointer Options -> or choosing Laser Pointer or Pen.

Display Settings:
Navigate to Slide Show -> Set Up Slide Show tab.

In the Set Up Show dialog, choose your preferred color for Pen or Laser Pointer in the Pen color or Laser pointer color section.

Under Show options, you have several choices. To select an option, simply click the checkbox next to it:
- Loop continuously until ‘Esc’: continuously loop the presentation until you press ESC.
- Show without narration: display without narration.
- Show without animation: present without animations.
- Disable hardware graphics acceleration: deactivate hardware graphics acceleration.

In the Show slides section, you can opt for the default to showcase all pages (All), or selectively present specific pages by choosing From and selecting the desired page positions.

Once your configurations are set, press OK.
