If your daily work involves typing, even though you're proficient in touch typing, there are some tricks you can employ to maximize efficiency. This article provides a detailed guide on how to utilize shortcuts and type swiftly using Unikey.
Step 1: Right-click on the Unikey software icon -> Open.

Step 2: Click on the Extensions section.

Step 3: The dialog box appears, check the box next to Enable shortcuts -> Click Close.

Step 4: Right-click on the software icon at the bottom right of the screen (or use the shortcut Ctrl + Shift + F5) -> select Create shortcut board.

Step 5: The dialog box appears:
- In the Replace section: Enter the abbreviation to replace the word.
- In the By section: Enter the replacement content for the word in the replace section -> Click Add to confirm the abbreviation.

Step 6: If you want to add more abbreviations, just enter the abbreviation and click Save:

Step 7: You can edit the abbreviation by clicking on that phrase and making changes. For example, to change it to Information Technology Tricks (note that you cannot edit the abbreviation, if you edit the Unikey abbreviation, it's considered adding a new word).

The result after editing remains the same number of abbreviations, and the abbreviation 'ttth' is replaced by Information Technology Tricks.

If you want to delete a replacement phrase, simply click on the phrase and then click the Delete button:

Note: Replacement phrases are usually written without spaces and accents.
From now on, you can use abbreviations. Open a Word file, and when you type 'ttth', Word will automatically understand and replace it with 'Information Technology Tricks'. If you don't want to replace the abbreviation, hold down the Shift key before pressing the Space bar. For example, after typing 'ttth', press and hold the Shift key, then press the Space bar. The result is that the phrase 'ttth' remains unchanged.
Wishing you all success!
