Sleep mode is a built-in feature across various operating systems, from Windows 10 downwards to earlier versions. While Hibernate mode takes your computer to a deep slumber, Sleep mode allows for low-power work capabilities. On Windows 10, this mode is set to automatically engage after a period of inactivity, causing frustration for users who need their computers running for continuous downloads. In this article, Mytour will guide you on how to toggle Sleep mode in Windows 10. Let's dive in!
Step 1: Open the Settings in Windows 10 and select the System category.

Step 2: Choose the Power & Sleep option, and in the right window under Sleep, select the time duration for your computer to automatically enter sleep mode when inactive.
Example: Here, we choose 30 minutes; after 30 minutes of inactivity, your computer will automatically enter sleep mode.

Step 3: If you want to turn off Sleep mode, simply select Never.

With just a few simple steps, we've successfully toggled Sleep mode on and off in Windows 10. After making your selection, the dynamic settings will be saved, and now you can check if your computer still enters sleep mode when not in use. Good luck!
