Slither.io, a beloved game, thrusts you into the arena with random players from the vast realm of the internet. However, creating a gaming room with friends seems elusive. So, how do we go about playing Slither.io together?
I. Playing Slither.io with Friends using NTLMod
NTLMod, a browser extension, can be installed on Google Chrome and Edge. To play Slither.io together, you need to use a web browser. The mobile version is currently not supported.
Step 1: Visit the Chrome Web Store or Microsoft Edge Add-ons Store to install the NTLMod extension.
Click on Add to Chrome.
Upon the confirmation prompt, select Add extension.
Step 2: After installing the extension, open Slither.io. You'll notice the game's homepage transformed. In the Select server by ping row, choose the server with the lowest ping.
Step 3: After selecting the server, enter your character name and press Play to commence the game.

Step 4: Now, your friends can join the same server on their computers. Ensure they also have NTLMod installed.
When accessing Slither.io, they just need to input the server number in the “Enter Server IP Here” section.
Step 5: Your friends need to input their names and press Play to join. That's it! Enjoy the game together!
II. Other Features of NTLMod
NTLMod offers various additional features that might catch your interest. Some examples include changing skins, advanced settings, and grouping.
1. Change Skin
On the Slither.io homepage, you can find the Change Skin button. This feature offers numerous options to customize your snake's appearance. Create a stunning look for your serpent before entering the battle.
2. Advanced Settings
NTLMod introduces new settings for you to configure the game. Click the Open Settings button, and you'll find options related to game graphics and snake settings. Customize them to match your playing style.
If you're playing on a less powerful computer, click the Max FPS button. This feature automatically adjusts settings for the smoothest gameplay experience.
3. Teaming Up
The 'teams' mode grants your snake immunity against damage from fellow group members. It's an excellent feature to build an empire with friends, albeit available through a paid option.
