Kickstart Your Dirtbike with Confidence

Ensure your motorcycle warms up adequately before hitting the road to safeguard your engine's health.

Once prepared, fully engage the clutch, then shift the bike into first gear by pressing down on the shifter located on the left side.

Gradually apply throttle while releasing the clutch slowly. When shifting gears, remember to use the clutch to avoid damaging your transmission gears.

To shift the bike into neutral while it's powered off, shift down until reaching first gear, then gently nudge up a gear. If the bike moves forward without halting, it's in neutral. For bikes with only three gears, neutral is always the lowest gear. To confirm, tap down approximately five or six times.
Handy Tips
As you sense the bike's pull, release the clutch gradually and apply a bit more throttle.
You can opt to shift gears without utilizing the clutch, but be cautious as shifting from 2nd to 1st might engage neutral unexpectedly.
When traversing wooded areas or technical terrain, it's essential to feather the clutch. This involves bringing the clutch to its engagement point while moving forward to increase revs over rough terrain. This technique can aid in hill climbs when engine bogging occurs due to slow speed.
