In this tutorial, I'll be using Photoshop CC.

Drawing Straight Lines in Photoshop (CC)
Step 1: Create a New Layer using the shortcut Shift + Ctrl + N
Step 2: On the main interface of Photoshop, select the Line Tool.

Step 3: Choose your preferred drawing color and brush size.

Step 4: Draw a straight line by holding down the mouse and dragging to the desired endpoint, then release.

Step 4: To move the line, click on the newly created layer and use the Move Tool. Hold the mouse on the line, drag it to the desired location, and then release the mouse.

Drawing Curves in Photoshop
Step 1: Create a new layer similar to the previous one.
Step 2: Select the Pen Tool and choose the Path drawing mode.

Step 3: While holding Shift, click at the starting and ending points to create a straight line like this:

Step 4: Choose the 'Add Anchor Point Tool'.

Step 5: Place a point in the middle of the line.

Step 6: Hold the mouse on the square point, drag it freely, and you'll create a curve.

Adjust the curve freely using the dot handle.

Step 7: At this point, you've only created a curved path, not an actual stroke. To create a stroke on the path, follow these steps:
- Select the Brush Tool.

- Press F5 to bring up the Brush customization panel, choose the brush type, and set the brush size.

- Select the Pen Tool, right-click on the path, and choose Stroke path...

Choose the Brush option.

- Click OK, and now you have a curved stroke.

Thus, Mytour has guided you on how to draw straight and curved lines in Photoshop. Wishing you successful practice!
