1. Power On/Off
+ Step 1: Press the ON/OFF button once, and the control panel will display the word ON.
+ Step 2: To turn off the Daikin air conditioner, simply press the ON/OFF button again.
2. Selecting Operating Modes
Older models of Daikin air conditioners come equipped with 5 modes:
+ Snowflake Icon: Cooling mode.
+ Sun Icon: Heating mode, exclusive to Daikin 2-way air conditioners.
+ Fan Blade Icon: Fan mode.
+ Letter A Icon: Auto mode.

+ Step 1: Press the clock button on the TIMER frame and then select the ON button.

7. Setting the Air Conditioner Off Timer
+ Step 1: Press the OFF button on the TIMER frame.
+ Step 2: Press the upward or downward arrow button on the TIMER frame to choose the timer duration for turning off the unit.
+ Step 3: Press the OFF button once more to confirm.
If you want to cancel the off timer, press the OFF button and then press the CANCEL button on the TIMER frame.
