Mastering Windows Media Player 12
Setup Mode: Windows Media Player 12 comes integrated with Windows. When you open any song or video with Windows Media Player, it will prompt you for settings. First, select Recommended settings to proceed.
After clicking Finish, the Windows Media Player interface will appear as shown below.
Playing Music: There are several ways to play music on Windows Media Player 12. If you insert a CD into your computer, the software will automatically play music and update album covers and related song information. Alternatively, you can also add music by right-clicking and selecting Add, then navigate to the music storage folder to open. Here, you can choose songs or skip through them using the controls.
Clicking on the Now Playing icon at the top right corner of the screen will display information about the currently playing album and song.
The Rip CD button allows you to copy music from a CD into the Windows Media Player library.
The CD ripping process runs concurrently with music playback, ensuring uninterrupted listening experience.

Music ripped will be stored in the My Music folder within Libraries.
Burning music to disc: You can also burn music to a CD very easily. Just switch to the Burn tab at the top right corner of the music library, then insert a blank disc and drag songs into this area to copy.
After copying is done, you will see a list of songs. Click Start burn to begin the burning process.
The disc burning progress will be displayed here directly, showing you which songs were successfully and unsuccessfully burned.
