1. Necessary Conditions:
- Own a high-end smartphone running Android OS (most smart TVs nowadays use the Android OS, so if you have an iOS device, it might be more challenging to connect)
- Own a Samsung, LG, Sony TV from 2019, 2020 onwards with AirPlay integration (For TVs without AirPlay, you need to install additional apps like Screen Mirror, AirScreen, etc. from the Google Play Store on the TV before using).
- Connect all devices to the same Wi-Fi network, including your phone, computer, and TV.
2. Using AirPlay for Online Zoom Learning on TV
Step 1: Download and install the Zoom app on your phone (If you're unsure how, you can refer to Mytour's previous article on how to download Zoom on Android and iPhone).

Step 2: On the TV screen, select the 'Home Dashboard' icon
Step 3: Select the 'AirPlay' feature on the LG TV screen
Step 4: Check the Wi-Fi network your TV is using, if it doesn't match the Wi-Fi network your phone is using, you need to set up Wi-Fi again for one of these devices. If the Wi-Fi networks match, proceed to step 5.
Step 6: On your iPhone, swipe up from the bottom edge to display the 'Control Center', click on 'screen mirroring'
Step 7: Your phone screen will display devices available for mirroring. Select the 'TV name' you want to connect to.
Step 8: After connecting, you will receive the AirPlay password on the TV you selected. Enter this AirPlay password on your phone, press 'OK' for the TV to start connecting.
Immediately, all information, images on your phone will be mirrored on the TV. Next, you just need to access the Zoom app on your phone, enter the name, password, and support your child in joining the class with the best audio and image quality. Note:
- Each TV brand will have a different method of enabling AirPlay connection. Typically, the AirPlay feature will be found in the TV settings. You need to enable this feature on the TV before performing the connection, mirroring images from your phone.
- If you want to join online Zoom classes on TV with the best image quality, you should rotate your phone screen horizontally while studying.
- To ensure uninterrupted study sessions for your children, make sure to fully charge your phone and turn off other devices connected to the same Wi-Fi network to ensure a smooth network without lag or interruption.
3. Using Screen Mirroring for online Zoom learning on TV
The Screen Mirroring application functions similarly to AirPlay, allowing users to turn the TV into a secondary screen displaying all the content being presented on the phone.
Step 1: Open TV, press the Home button => select the Screen Mirroring application.
Step 2: On your phone, navigate to the Screen Mirroring or Phản Chiếu Màn Hình section, depending on where this feature is located on your phone. You can refer to the illustrations below.
Step 3: Press the Start button on your phone, search and select the name of the TV device you want to connect to, and display content from your phone to the TV.
Step 4: Immediately after, the TV screen will display the name of the phone wanting to Connect. Press OK or Agree to confirm the successful connection.
4. Using Wi-Fi Direct for online Zoom learning on TV
Wi-Fi Direct is a connection between two devices to share files, screen mirroring ... at higher speeds than Bluetooth connections. Moreover, devices do not need to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network (Internet) to use Wi-Fi Direct.
Requirement: TV must have Wi-Fi Direct feature.
Step 1: On your TV, go to the Settings menu => select Network, click on Wi-Fi Direct to get the Wi-Fi Name and Password.
