However, the application of poison is always flexible and unpredictable. It turns characters who use poison in games into enigmatic, dangerous, and sometimes villainous figures.

Scarecrow - Batman Arkham Series

Scarecrow is one of the most dangerous criminals Batman faces in the Arkham Series. Sometimes, he's even more dangerous than the Joker. His specialty lies in using poison combined with neurology to create hallucinations that can kill those affected.

He once used his classic toxin on Batman, triggering the superhero's deepest fears. However, he underestimated Batman's strength to overcome his fears and escaped. Unfortunately for him, Batman retaliated, injecting him with his own toxin, leaving Scarecrow paralyzed by his own fears before being subdued by Gordon.

Ezio - Assassin's Creed Series

Ezio is considered one of the strongest main characters with assassin blood in the Assassin’s Creed series. Like other assassins, Ezio uses hidden blades and swords to eliminate enemies.

However, he also employs more subtle and sinister methods such as poisoning. With various poisons, Ezio can induce enemies into a frenzy and attack recklessly. Poison can also be used in poisoned darts for quick long-range kills or toxic bombs to take down multiple targets at once.

Gengar - Pokemon Series

Gengar is a type of pokemon classified as ghostly, familiar to players since Generation 1. Gengar has a strong disposition with ghost-type attacks.

However, its most dangerous aspect is its ability to poison. Players can train Gengar to use various poison-type moves through TMs. This makes Gengar a terrifying ghost capable of spreading toxins, instilling fear in many opposing trainers.

The Fear - Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater tells the story of Big Boss's rise from a special agent codenamed Naked Snake to the title of the greatest warrior, The Boss. One of the milestones in this journey is defeating the Cobra Unit, the most elite group of warriors.

His combat gear is geared towards silent and deadly combat in the jungle. His camouflage suit and bizarre physique allow him to move swiftly and almost invisibly through the jungle. Along with a weapon arsenal including a crossbow and poisoned arrows, his attacks are silent but deadly.

Naked Snake was initially poisoned by The Fear but thanks to his detox skills and equipped thermal goggles that counter invisibility, he managed to defeat The Fear.
