Mastering USB connection with MacBook
When you plug in a USB device, you can only export data, not write data onto it.
Step 1: To write data and ensure optimal compatibility, open Spotlight and search for Disk Utility.
Step 2: Then, select the plugged-in USB device > Proceed to the Erase option.
Step 3: Here, select either Mac OS Extended or AFPS format and rename your USB. Finally, choose Erase, wait a moment, your USB will be converted to the best format for macOS support and now you can use it to write normally.
