Located about 40km from Phan Thiet city, near Bau Trang, the Mossy Fishing Village in Hoa Thang commune, Bac Binh district has become a remarkably impressive destination with its surreal beauty of lush green mossy areas along the coastline.

The Mossy Fishing Village is also a suitable destination for enthusiasts of paragliding. The landscape here is formed from variously sized rock formations, each with unique shapes created by the impact of ocean currents.

As the sun rises, the rocky outcrops emerge from the water with green moss covering their surface, creating a natural spectacle that allows travelers to capture timeless photographs.

Typically, the mossy fishing village appears at the end of April in the lunar calendar. When the tide rises, the green moss reappears. The soft, vibrant green moss clings tightly to the rocks, giving the rugged rocks a gentle appearance. As the tide recedes, the moss patches bask in the sparkling sunlight, exuding a romantic atmosphere.

According to local residents, this mossy area has only recently emerged, appearing just a few years ago. The lifespan of the mossy area is usually not very long, lasting about two months. The most beautiful and longest period of moss growth is from January to February every year.
