In addition to spelling correctly, there are various ways for us to collectively preserve the integrity of the Vietnamese language. For example, using correct vocabulary, grammar, annotating difficult words, regional terms, utilizing original foreign words, or phonetically transcribed words that have been recognized.

. Spell Correctly

The issue of misspelling occurs frequently and is encountered regularly. When encountering any doubtful words, individuals can refer to the Vietnamese dictionary to check their correct spelling, thereby avoiding writing words incorrectly. For example:

Excellence rather than Suat Sắc
Sharp instead of Sharp xảo / xắc sảo

. Annotate difficult words, local terms

With 63 provinces and cities, each region has its own way of speaking and using words. While most terms are understandable when used, there are also many region-specific terms that are less commonly heard, such as:

Using means Utilizing / Employing. Talking too much means speaking excessively (unintentionally speaking incorrectly). Chain. Write correct vocabulary, grammar.

This error is also very common, similar to spelling mistakes. For example, in the sentence 'some correct ways to write', some people write it as '1 way to write correctly'. Writing the number 1 instead of the word 'one' in this sentence is incorrect because 'some' is a phrase, not just a counting unit. Similarly, when writing dates, it is correct to write Monday, Tuesday... Sunday instead of Monday, Tuesday, Saturday...
