After a plethora of leaks and rumors, Xiaomi has officially unveiled Mi Band 6 today, the latest generation of their highly successful smart wearable lineup. While Mi Band 6 maintains the same exterior design as its predecessor, it undergoes significant hardware upgrades, most notably in the high-resolution display department.
The display of Mi Band 6 now extends edge-to-edge on both top and bottom, departing from the rectangular screen of its predecessors. Xiaomi claims extensive efforts were made to achieve this feat on a small wearable device like Mi Band.

With the screen now extending edge-to-edge, Xiaomi no longer needs to resort to using black watch faces to conceal imperfections as with previous Mi Bands. Instead, they can showcase colorful watch faces like these on Mi Band 6.
Mi Band 6's display boasts a resolution of up to 326 ppi and a maximum brightness of 500 nits, making it one of the smartest wristbands with the best display quality today.
By extending the screen like this, Mi Band 6 has also eliminated the virtual Home button on the screen, undoubtedly altering user interaction.
Another significant upgrade is that Mi Band 6 will measure SpO2 levels (blood oxygen saturation), providing users with exercise and health recommendations.Other upgrades include:- Support for tracking 30 different sports, notably dance activities
