Keeping true to its promise, Microsoft finally introduces the new icons across its products. The initial announcement suggested bringing the new icons to Office apps for mobile and web platforms.

Microsoft introduces fresh icons for Office 365 on the web platform.

The company has begun rolling out new icons for Office 365 on the web platform. After logging into Office 365, you will notice this change, however, these icons are currently only deployed for Office 365 Business or Education accounts.
These new icons are displayed on the Office ribbon bar, redesigned to look visually appealing and much sleeker, drawing inspiration mainly from the Fluent Design interface.
Currently, the new icons are added to Office 365 for the web platform, while the Office apps for Android, iOS, and Windows 10 have not yet been updated.
Additionally, Microsoft has not released any desktop Office app updates for Windows 10 users. We can hope the company will soon update the interface and introduce new icons for users.
