Although Microsoft announces Visual Studio 2019 on its blog, unfortunately, the company fails to mention the specific new features that will be included in this release.
Microsoft unveils Visual Studio 2019
Microsoft announces its intention to develop a simple, user-friendly environment for users, and Visual Studio 2019 will run alongside VS2017, without requiring an upgrade to a new operating system. This means Visual Studio 2019 will support the same operating systems as its predecessor, including both Windows 7 and Windows 8.1.
The software giant also emphasizes the company's goal to make Visual Studio 2019 'faster, more reliable, and more efficient for individuals and teams, easier to use, and easier to get started with.' Additionally, VS2019 will integrate enhancements for new features such as Live Code and IntelliCode.
The company does not provide a specific release date for VS2019 but only reveals it will be released soon for users and reiterates. Currently, a preview version of VS2019 is also not available; if users want to experience the latest features early, they can try them out on the Visual Studio 2017 preview version.
