Yesterday, the official account supporting Microsoft's Cortana service at the Microsoft Asia Research Institute unintentionally revealed the existence of a phone named Surface Phone. This confirms that the information about Microsoft secretly developing the Surface Phone running Windows 10 ARM is accurate.
Microsoft China discloses details about the Surface Phone release date
In response to user queries on Zhihu, the renowned Chinese Q&A service website, the Microsoft (China) Cortana support engineer expressed anticipation for the flawless performance of the Surface Phone. Responding on ITHome, the engineer managing Microsoft's Cortana account stated:
“Firstly, Siri and Bixby, the two virtual assistants embedded in smartphones, and Cortana being a third-party app, support might be a bit sluggish. Windows Phone users surely know that the built-in Cortana virtual assistant in Windows Phone operates more efficiently than the third-party Cortana app. Microsoft Cortana (Xiao Na) is an intelligent virtual assistant service, platform-independent, capable of operating on various devices such as PCs or smartphones. Considering the aspect of virtual assistants, accessibility is a crucial factor, and I hope it will achieve perfect performance on the Surface Phone. Of course, the development of assistant features is still somewhat slow; the Cortana team is making efforts to improve this service continuously.”

A notable feature of this device is its ability to fold and unfold into a tablet. Andromeda can function as a phone, tablet, or laptop, thanks to its foldable and unfoldable nature.
Microsoft China revealing the Surface Phone release date is not the only information we've received from Microsoft. Starting today, Windows 10 users can use Cortana to control Spotify, making it easier for them to switch songs, pause, play, or perform any actions on Spotify with their voice.
