Specifically, Microsoft Edge Dev version 88.0.692.0 is the first version to introduce the ability to pin websites to the Start Menu. In other words, if you rely on the Start Menu for everything you do on your computer, the Edge web browser now has a dedicated option allowing you to quickly pin a webpage there.

The Start menu has evolved significantly on Windows 10, and in a recent feature update for Windows 10, it has received support for 'Theme-aware live tiles' (Live Tiles that automatically adapt to the system theme color or display grayscale - white tones in light and dark modes of Windows 10), thus making the interface of Live Tiles match one of the themes being used on the system.
The new Microsoft Edge Dev update also supports Guided Switch on Mac. And last but not least, the browser has a new feature for Kiosk Mode to open all pop-up windows in new tabs instead of windows. This will keep everything more organized on the screen.
Similar to other releases, this update also includes various measures to address issues, bug fixes, and Microsoft says they have addressed some issues that occurred at different stages of browser usage.
For example: The new Edge web browser will no longer crash on startup and attempt to restore previous browsing sessions, or when opening specific PDF files and syncing Collections.

These are definitely things to keep an eye on, especially since the Dev channel provides users access to builds paving the way for more stable releases, no matter which platform you install the browser on.
