Today, the software giant has disclosed plans to add new tools and expand VMware solutions by the end of this year.
Microsoft expands its support for Azure VMware solutions.
In terms of partners choosing related solutions, Microsoft highlights Lucky Brand as one of the retailers currently migrating their VMware data to Azure. RiverMeadow is also planning to accelerate and expand the process of moving the most complex workloads and data. Additionally, software company Zerto has integrated Azure VMware solutions into its IT Resilience Platform.
Organizations and businesses can utilize Veeam's Backup & Replication software to move and, more importantly, protect their workloads and data to Azure. Subsequently, customers of these organizations can deploy similar services from Veeam.
The Azure VMware service will be expanded to 8 regions, including the United States, Western Europe, and the Asia Pacific by the end of this year. Additionally, new options including Azure NetApp Files as a storage option will also be deployed by year's end.
