According to information, Microsoft will soon add file recovery feature on OneDrive, but it seems that the Files Restore feature will only be available to OneDrive for Business users, not for all OneDrive users. Furthermore, this feature allows users to recover files within at least the last 30 days, not 90 days. This feature provides users with the opportunity to bring back their data at any time within 30 days.

Microsoft officially unveils Files Restore feature for OneDrive for Business
The Restore OneDrive option is now available in the Settings section of the application. By using this option, users can undo any changes to a specific point in time based on the graph. After selecting the time, a dialog box will appear specifying the exact period and the number of files that will be restored after this process.

This feature is particularly useful for users who do not want to store sensitive information online. Files Restore can act as a solution to protect user data from ransomware attacks.
SharePoint Online is also enhanced with data recovery functionality, but Microsoft acknowledges that it may take a few weeks to recover the data. Importantly, this new feature will not work if the version is disabled or if files have been deleted from the recycle bin.
The deployment of Files Restore will take place today and will reach a wider user base in the coming weeks. The File Restore feature was first mentioned at the Ignite event last year.
OneDrive is one of the top choices for users to store data online, while for offline data storage, on physical devices, users can choose devices like USB, drives, or compact microSD cards. The first 512 GB microSD card set to debut in February will provide an ideal option for users with large data storage needs who require a compact, convenient storage device.
