Earlier this year, Microsoft pledged a set of new emojis sporting a fresh 3D style, exclusively for select services including Teams and Flipgrid (according to XDA-Developers), while introducing a collection of 2D emotion icons for all users.

Windows 11 introduces a fresh batch of emojis in the November Update
The latest emojis on Windows 11 are getting a facelift, with some entirely revamped with vibrant colors and captivating designs. Notably, the iconic Clippy emoji makes a comeback.

Currently, there's no official word on whether the new 3D emojis will be available to all Windows 11 users and when.
With Windows 11, Microsoft brings users a completely new design. By integrating various elements and a more intuitive design for emoji emoticons, it promises to offer users a unique and fresh experience.
To own and experience the 2D emoji icons as well as new designs and improvements, consider updating to the latest Windows 11 Preview version by accessing Settings => Update & Security => Windows Update and selecting Check for updates.
Once the update installation process is complete, simply press Windows + period (.) to access the new emoticon icons.
