The Play My Emails feature in the Outlook app essentially provides you with the ability to have Outlook read your emails aloud. This may not be useful for everyone, but when connected to Bluetooth headphones, it can be a truly time-saving feature.
Download and install the latest version of Outlook on your phone:
The Play My Emails feature made its debut on Outlook for iOS last year, and Microsoft has just brought this feature to the Android version of Outlook. You can activate Play My Emails by tapping on your profile picture in the top left corner and selecting the Settings menu. You can find this feature just below the Organize mail by thread option. This release comes as no surprise, as in May, Microsoft promised to roll out this email playback feature for Outlook on Android in the future.
In addition to reading your emails aloud, this feature is also designed to perform other tasks. Here is the full release note on the Play Store, where the app has been updated to version 4.2031.2:
'Introducing Play My Emails feature - listen to new emails and upcoming events while walking your dog or daily strolling. You can even respond quickly using your voice. The feature is available for eligible accounts in the United States.'

Thus, the availability of the feature is currently limited. Although it seems that everyone can find the Play My Emails feature in the app, only accounts in the United States can activate it. It's unclear when users in other countries can enable that option.
