According to the content posted by Vishnu Nath on Twitter, the first beta version of the app has been released for users of Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 17728. Users on Windows Insider build 17723 and above have the privilege to access images on their Android devices. Lastly, the text messaging feature will soon be deployed in a future update.
Currently, Your Phone only allows users to transfer images from their phones to Windows 10 computers and relies on a Microsoft account for image synchronization across devices. To get started, users open the Your Phone app on their computer and install the Microsoft Apps app on their Android device for access. Download Microsoft Apps for Android
Earlier this week, Microsoft, the software giant, also announced that it will introduce the first set of features into the Your Phone app for Windows Insider users using Android devices. Users can also view photos taken with their Android devices on their Windows 10 computers.
With the Your Phone app, the latest images on a user's Android device will automatically sync with their computer.
Additionally, there are various ways to connect a phone to a computer for copying and moving image and video data, such as using a cable or Bluetooth for quick phone-to-computer connections.
