Microsoft Offers Free Outlook App for Mac Users

Today, Microsoft officially provides the Outlook email management tool for free to Mac users. Outlook is now accessible on the Mac App Store without the need for users to subscribe to Microsoft 365 or purchase the Office app suite as before.

As a result, users can now use Outlook for free on Mac with full support for Outlook.com, Gmail, iCloud, Yahoo, or any email service with IMAP support. Additionally, the software giant has redesigned the Outlook app to better align with the latest user interface of the macOS.

Microsoft Offers Free Outlook App for Mac Users

Outlook for Mac is now optimized for Apple's M1 and M2 chips, providing flexible performance and faster synchronization speeds compared to previous versions. This email tool also supports integration with iOS through the new Handoff feature, allowing users to effortlessly transfer tasks between iOS devices and Mac.

With the Outlook app, Mac users can manage reminders through the macOS Notification Center, along with a dedicated widget to track their daily work schedule. In the future, Microsoft will continue to add more useful features to enhance the Outlook experience on MacBook.
