As anticipated, instead of navigating through traditional font changes on the computer, users can now manage fonts by clicking on them, similar to managing an app from Settings. On that page, users will be provided with options to uninstall font installations and preview fonts in different sizes and styles. At the bottom of the page, users can find metadata for the font, such as file name, version, manufacturer, and more.
Microsoft is set to add a Fonts page to the Settings app.

Finally, here's the way to manage fonts on the modern Windows 10 user interface. Clearly, Microsoft's ultimate goal in adding a new Fonts page to the Settings app is to give users no reason to use the Control Panel anymore, and eventually phase out the Control Panel.
In the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update (v1709), Control Panel was removed from the right-click menu on the Start button at the bottom left corner of the Taskbar. Recently, users have been able to download the Windows 10 SDK Preview build 17069 after Microsoft released this operating system update with some minor enhancements. If you're a participant in the Windows 10 Insider Program, you can immediately update to this new version.
