Notably, this is the first Patch Tuesday update of 2021, and needless to say, these cumulative updates primarily focus on addressing security vulnerabilities in Windows 10 and some built-in components.

As mentioned earlier, focusing on addressing security issues in Windows 10, this update aims to patch several vulnerabilities in the operating system, including one that affects intranet servers based on HTTPS.
Microsoft explains: 'After installing this update, intranet servers based on HTTPS by default cannot use user proxy to detect updates. Scanning using these servers will fail if you haven't configured system proxy on the client machine. If you need to use user proxy, you need to configure behavior using the policy Allow user proxy to be used as a fallback if detection using system proxy fails. To ensure the highest security level, deploy Transport Layer Security (TLS) certificates for Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) on all devices. This change doesn't affect customers using HTTP WSUS servers.'
Users can update Windows 10 from Windows Update, Microsoft Update Catalog, and Windows Server Update Services (WSUS).
