Introducing 2 new enhancements for Outlook
Microsoft is also introducing a new search option, making it easier for users to find specific content within their Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents.
According to Microsoft, to search recent files, users just need to enter a few keywords into the Search box in the Backstage (File => Home page) and they're good to go.
In addition, Office version 1901 also includes other refinements regarding accessibility. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint now feature a new function called Review =>Check Accessibility, which can scan documents and provide users with an overview of the content, making it easier for them to access their documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
Finally, the update brings two new enhancements to Outlook. Specifically, the application now supports GIFs, allowing users to add animated images to their emails. Additionally, users can encrypt their emails by configuring options in Options => Encrypt.
A small note is that these enhancements are released for Office 365 subscriptions and are currently in the testing phase. The features are expected to be rolled out to all customers in the coming weeks.
