Starting today, Microsoft has begun rolling out Windows 10 Build 14965 for Slow Ring Insider users. This build reached Fast Ring users last week.
In case you're not aware, Windows Insiders is a Microsoft testing program for users who own a Windows 10 license. Through this program, they can sign up to receive unreleased Windows 10 versions, typically intended for developers. This enables users to experience early versions and provide feedback to help Microsoft refine the product.
Windows Insider divides users into two groups: Fast Ring (receives the earliest builds, but likely to encounter bugs) and Slow Ring (receives builds after Fast Ring, with most bugs ironed out).
Microsoft releases Windows 10 Build 14965 for Slow Ring users.
As of now, the new Windows 10 build 14965 is only available on PCs. It seems Microsoft is focusing on improving build quality on PCs for the Slow Ring group, hence the Fast Ring group has not yet received the Win 10 Mobile update.
Similar to Fast Ring, the build 14965 Windows 10 for Slow Ring includes a notable feature: the virtual touchpad, allowing tablet usage to replace mouse and keyboard actions on computers, along with enhancements to the Windows Ink touchscreen app and Precision Touchpad (gestures with the touchpad).
Last week, build 14965 for Fast Ring also included significant changes for Sticky Notes, such as support for multiple language packs, phone numbers, and addresses for regions like the UK, Germany, France, India, and Brazil to enhance user experience.
In build 14965 for Slow Ring, Microsoft introduced Language Packs that were missing in the Fast Ring release.
Here, Mytour has just introduced Windows 10 Build 14965 for Slow Ring Insider users released by Microsoft. Similar to Fast Ring, the build 14965 Windows 10 for Slow Ring includes many new prominent features. This is perhaps a minor update before the upcoming release early next year similar to the previous Windows 10 Anniversary edition. With the success of the Windows 10 Anniversary edition launch with many positive changes, many people have updated to Windows 10 Anniversary.
Additional information about builds for Windows Insiders will be continuously updated on Mytour.
