Money is the first Excel feature that Microsoft discontinues support for. This feature allows users to securely connect to their banking data and synchronize information directly. Consequently, the feature will no longer update user transactions after 30/6/2023. Users cannot reconnect their current financial accounts or new accounts but can retain existing data, and Microsoft cannot access this data.

In addition, the tech giant from Redmond also advises users to utilize other premium budget templates available in Excel or switch to Tiller, a paid software (priced at $79/year, with a 60-day free trial included for Microsoft 365 customers) offering more features than Money in Excel.

The next feature to be removed is Wolfram Data Types. Microsoft announced a partnership with Wolfram several years ago and now the company has decided not to renew it. This feature will cease to function from June 11, 2023. Users' existing data will not be deleted but will simply no longer be connected to the Wolfram service.

Finally, Microsoft also eliminates partner suggestions. Although the company hasn't delved into details, it emphasizes that users who have subscribed to offers must switch before June 30, 2023, to avoid permanent deletion.
