Previously, Microsoft updated a series of Android apps with office utility apps that garnered considerable attention. With these updates, users will gain additional features while using the apps on their devices. Today, Microsoft continues to release an Office Mobile update for Windows Insider users.
This is a preview for the February feature update, version number 17.9029. If you're not acquainted with Office Mobile's UWP apps, these apps are quite prevalent on Windows phones, as well as smaller tablets (under 10 inches) running Windows 10 for PCs.
The only feature listed in the changelog is in PowerPoint where users can see who has edited the presentation, as well as the changes they've made. These edits will be highlighted in green and will only appear on edited slides.
Insiders will receive these updates approximately 2 weeks before they're released and made available to all users. Non-Insider users can wait until the update is available.
