Reports from Neowin suggest that Microsoft's Office Mobile apps are on the verge of receiving new icons. However, specific details about when these new icons will be rolled out remain unclear.

Microsoft has rolled out and released new Office icons. These icons are currently available to Office 365 customers on Windows, mobile platforms, and the web. It's worth noting that the Office Mobile suite for Windows 10 has not yet received these icons.

Exciting news as the MS Office Insider Twitter account confirms that Office Mobile UWP apps will be receiving additional new icons. Although the tweet did not specify a precise timeline for the rollout, it assured users that it's coming soon.

It's evident that there aren't many users currently utilizing the Office Mobile apps for Windows 10, which were originally designed for smartphones and small tablets. However, these apps still hold promise as Microsoft may continue leveraging them for devices not running Win32 applications, such as Surface Hub 2 and HoloLens 2. Both of these devices run Windows Core OS, and more detailed information is expected to be revealed at Microsoft's Build 2019 developer conference in the coming weeks.
